Brookside Cafe

Think, first watch quality (great food)with local diner prices. Great brunch option. They have a vast list of specialty waffles that were delicious. The bacon was crispy and the eggs the correct temperature. They had short staff signs but honestly the service was great. In the restaurant the ambiance was a bit overwhelming with different signs hard to see what is what. They had good lighting and clean bathrooms.

This was our first visit to Brookside Cafe. They have a variety of breakfast dishes and will be back to sample more of them. Our server was named Steve and he was great - quick with the coffee refills and friendly. The pancakes had wonderful flavor, the syrup is served hot not warm. The bacon and the eggs we're done perfectly and the price was very reasonable. Will go back to support this local business.

If you haven't tried Brookside yet, you need to.My daughter lives in Euless so when we visit I want a good place for breakfast. My wife found Brookside so we tried it and love it. I had the Big Big Breakfast, my wife had the Pot Roast. My daughter had the Peanut Butter Cups pancakes. My breakfast came out hot and good, cooked as I had ordered, the Pot Roast was tender and tasty. The Peanut Butter Cups breakfast had eggs and sausage with it. The pancakes had plenty of peanut butter cup pieces in them and looked quite good. My daughter loved them. Our service was great and the food was really good. I would recommend Brookside to anyone that is looking for a good breakfast or nice lunch.

Somehow I managed to get my finger in every picture I took! :-) This little diner has limited hours (breakfast and lunch only), but has consistently good food and service. The decor reminds me of the 80’s, but I have to admit there is something comforting about it. Their daily specials are posted on the back wall with allowable substitutions.I’ve never been there, they it hasn’t been at least half full, although business slows around 1:30 or 2:00.I’m a fan of the breakfasts and haven’t found one that I dislike. Their club sandwich is also good. My husband tends to order meat loaf and similar entrees. He’s always happy with his meal.

It is a great breakfast/brunch spot located in Hurst, TX. There is kind staff and always smiling, and the portion size is awesome. The coffee was great!

Just a great local diner. First time coming and will be back. Staff was friendly and engaging, Hawaiian Punch pancakes were great (with the piping hot syrup) and was able to order tamales (I think this is seasonal).

Walking in you wouldn’t expect much from a little cafe, but it quickly changed. The cup of coffee is double the standard size your usual cafe gives,and it doesn’t taste like cheap coffee either! I ordered the pot roast, comes with mashed potatoes, ordered green beans and chicken noodle soup as the sides. My friend ordered the berry berry bo-berry pancakes, with eggs and bacon.The pot roast is wonderfully tender and very flavorful! Green beans gotta be fresh as even though they’ve been cooked to tender, there is still that nice crunch from some fresh green beans. The mashed potatoes are not smooth and I personally love that!The pancakes! Wow! Berries are piled high on top with a nice dollop of whipped cream. Was pleasantly surprised by the fresh berries also cooked in the fluffy pancakes!This was my first time coming here and I will definitely be back! Our waitress Morgan was very nice and attentive! Treat her well!

My friend and I were hunting for a breakfast place we hadn't hit yet and found this place. It's small, clean, staffed with friendly folks, and whoever is cooking did a bang up job. The food was incredible and had healthy portions. I asked for soft scrambled eggs and they did it. Most times I am not so lucky. My friend loved her skillet. The pancakes were thick and fluffy. All praise for this place, no cons. We are excited for a return visit and other future visits as we make our way through the menu.
